Overview
At Byzantine Wear Co., we offer both digital and (soon) physical products inspired by the Eastern Orthodox tradition. This policy explains how refunds and returns are handled for both types of products.
Digital Products (PDFs, eBooks, Guides)
All sales of digital products are final. Once a file has been downloaded or accessed, it cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged.
By completing your purchase, you agree that:
- You waive your right of withdrawal once the download begins
- You are responsible for ensuring compatibility before purchase
Exceptions may be made in cases of:
- Corrupt or inaccessible files
- Duplicate accidental purchases (please contact us within 48 hours)

Physical Products (e.g. prayer ropes, icons)
You may return unused and undamaged physical items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
To be eligible:
- The item must be unused, in original condition and packaging
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required
We do not accept returns on:
- Downloadable digital products
- Gift cards
- Opened or used personal care items
- Custom handmade items (unless defective)
Partial Refunds May Be Granted (If Applicable)
- Items returned in less-than-original condition
- Items missing components not due to our error
- Items returned after 30 days (case-by-case basis)
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Late or missing refunds
If your refund hasn’t arrived:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company
- Contact your bank

Sale items
Only full-price items are eligible for refunds. Items purchased on sale or with a discount code are non-refundable unless defective.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to request an exchange, email us at ortho@byzantin.faith.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit once the return is received. If the gift was sent to the giver first, we will issue the refund to the original buyer.
Shipping returns
To return a product, please email us first to confirm return eligibility and receive the correct return address.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective
- Shipping costs are non-refundable
- For high-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping method
